article titled "Into the Mushroom Cloud". A good story about "Cloud Samplers" and includes
Virgil Meroney's accounts of the adventure.

"We Will Never Forget" our Ground Crew and Support Personnel.
Thanks, Al Giesting, for taking care of Virgil Meroney

In the Air Museum, standing in a non-descript corner, was a display with a statue
of an ancient warrier dressed in full armor. I don't remember what the soldier
signified but the title above the display was written
"Iron Mike".
Maybe just a coincidence me finding the display at the museum on that
same day of the Memorial to the 352 Fighter Group.
Virgil Meroney's nickname was
"Iron Mike".

Also fitting for the Air Force to Honor the 352nd with a "Fly By" during the Memorial Service.
The aircraft just happened to be F-4 Phantoms - Virgil's Last Combat Airplane!

"Sweet Louise"

"Sweet Louise II"
