1225 Train Chasers
October 16, 2005
Grayling , Michigan
Some new friends I met at 4 Mile Crossing,
Ron & Diane Loveland, took the image below
after the 1225 passed on it's way to Grayling.

Interesting that I took the images below,
probably simultaneously.
Thanks, Ron & Diane,
for "shooting" me.

Bud Palin, my friend and fellow professional photographer,
provided transportation for us to be "Train Chasers" on
Sunday, October 16.
We first traveled about 10 miles south of
Roscommon, where we ran into Loren Goodale (a real "Train Nut")
and his brother-in-law. Bud & I found a great area showing the
"Fall Colors" background & waited for the "1225".
After we took pictures, we raced back toward Grayling &
stopped at the 4 Mile RR Crossing. Lots of folks were gathered
there to witness & take pix and we met Ron & Diane & their group.
Once the 1225 passed, we sped away back to the industrial park
area in Grayling to again catch the "1225" as it rolled North. I
climbed
up the I75 overpass to take more pix as the train passed under me
as it entered Grayling.
The following link will take you to some of the images that
were provided by Bud Palin.
